Getting visa for Thailand being Indian citizen is fairly easy. If you hold an Indian passport then you can get on arrival Visa for Thailand.
While traveling to Thailand, please keep either International currency like US dollars or the Thai currency, which is Thai baht.
If you have Indian currency, then you might find very bad rates for the exchange at the Thailand airports. But I will suggest you to keep International currency. It is the best and you can get the best rate for it.
List of important documents for you to get on arrival Visa:
Visa immigration form filled for on arrival visa at Thailand
Indian passport valid for at least 6 months
Return Journey a ticket for flying out of Thailand ( To any other country or back to India – They basically want to make sure that if you enter the country you must leave it before 30 days).
Keep some passport size photos handy
You should have proof of funds of 10,000 Thai baht or equivalent currency Per person and if you are a family then you will need 20,000 baht for the whole family or equivalent currency. Most of the time the funds are not asked but some immigration officers asks for it so better to have it.
You should have your hotel bookings with you showing hotel name, address, time to check in and check out.
